If we do permit an early withdrawal, you will be charged a SUBSTANTIAL PENALTY based on the original maturity and the amount withdrawn as follows: 1) DEPOSITS WITH ORIGINAL MATURITY OF ONE YEAR OR LESS – Forfeiture of the lesser of the following two amounts: dividends since the date of issuance or renewal, or 90 days dividends on the amount withdrawn, whether earned or not, 2) DEPOSITS WITH ORIGINAL MATURITY OF MORE THAN ONE YEAR – Forfeiture of the lesser of the following two amounts: dividends since the date of issuance or renewal, or 180 days dividends on the amount withdrawn, whether earned or not. We will pay the certificate without penalty if the owner passes away or is determined to be legally incompetent.
